In case you missed it, I’ll be re-releasing podcast episodes from when my husband, Brad was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. You can read more about it here.
Episode Summary
“I thought my lowest low was 4:40am on Tuesday, when I woke up with a pain that — on my new and ever refined 10-point hospital scale of pain — was at an eight. And four episodes of night sweats and constricted breathing and a sense of fatigue and weakness and loneliness and despair. I thought that was the lowest low. But it wasn't. The lowest low was something more modest on the physical scale, and much more severe on my interpersonal scale.”
The night before Brad’s surgery, Brad, Dana, and Brad’s mom, Marsie discuss their high and low moments since learning of Brad’s cancer diagnosis.
